As the country is experiencing shortages on the HIN1 vaccine, Music City too has felt the effects of the swine flu. Hometown singer Tracy Lawrence was hit by the illness in August, forcing him to check into Nashville's Summit Medical Center and to cancel several concerts.

"For five or six weeks, I was pretty sick," Lawrence said. "I had H1N1 and pneumonia. It hit me a little harder because I'm asthmatic. It knocked me down pretty hard."

TheBoot.com reported that Lawrence will make up the concerts this week in San Antonio and Norman, OK. The Country star is currently promoting his gospel album, The Rock. Fans can get a peek at Lawrence on the new Lorrie Morgan album currently in stores, A Moment In Time. The pair cover the Conway Twitty/Loretta Lynn duet, "After The Fire Is Gone."
