While returning from a recent tour date in Jackpot, Nev., Tracy Lawrence and his road crew experienced a bit of a bumpy ride. The bus was being driven at the time by crew member Chuck Pursel, who was giving the bus driver a break. The left front tire blew out around North Platt, Neb., sending the bus out of control. The bus went off the road, down an embankment and into traffic.
Luckily, Pursel was able to regain control of the bus after the trip down the hill and settled in the median.

The bus sustained little damage and after a tire replacement, was able to deliver the men safely back to Nashville. Lawrence's bus was carrying his crew of Raymond Hall, Joe Caverlee and Darrin Favorite. The accident occurred on Interstate 80 through Nebraska.
Lawrence expressed his feelings in a statement. "By divine intervention, we were at the right place at the right time for a serious incident like this to happen and have everyone walk away unscathed," he said.
