Trace Loses, Sort Of

3/28/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Country Music star Trace Adkins almost made it to the top of Trump Towers.  In Thursday’s final episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, British competitor Piers Morgan took the nod from Donald Trump. Morgan’s charity, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which aids families of fallen U.S. soldiers, will receive $250,000. Trace Adkins was a popular contestant on the first-ever celebrity version of the hit TV series, especially amoung loyal Country Music Fans. Adkins’ charity, the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network, will receive proceeds from the sales of his latest single, “You’re Gonna Miss This,” which he performed live during Thursday’s final showdown.  Adkins chose FAAN in honor of his 6-year-old daughter who suffers from severe food allergies.
