Trace Adkins Looking "Grim" in New Film

4/2/2008 Kasey Bell It’s only April, and Country Music star Trace Adkins is really getting into the Christmas spirit. Literally. Fresh off his deep run on The Celebrity Apprentice, Trace has been cast in the new comedy American Carol. The movie is a take on Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol, and will feature Trace as the "Spirit of Christmas Future" in the form of the Grim Reaper. The film stars Kelsey Grammar of Frasier fame as Ebenezer Scrooge, and will include guest appearances by Jon Voight, Leslie Nielsen, Dennis Hopper and many others. Directed by David Zucker, who directed Airplane! and two of the Naked Gun films, American Carol is slated for release later this year.
