Trace Adkins Number One

Trace Adkins isn’t feeling the sting of last week’s The Celebrity Apprentice — not when he has a number one single on the Country Music charts to smile about. Adkins’ latest single, “You’re Gonna Miss This,” from his Greatest Hits, Vol II, was performed live to more than 12 million viewers on last Thursday’s finale of The Celebrity Apprentice. On Friday morning, it was number one on the iTunes country singles chart. In a press release Friday, Adkins said of his Apprentice experience, "I'll miss the relationships and hanging-out with these people and just the camaraderie. We pulled together and worked hard to try to win money for charity." The Country Music singer's recent television publicity also has given Adkins a reported increase in sales of his latest album, American Man Greatest Hits Volume II, and some prior releases. Sales from this latest single will benefit FAAN, the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network.
