Trace's Apprentice Team Has First Loss

2/1/2008 Stephen L. Betts Trace Adkins' team suffered its first loss on Thursday night's episode of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. The teams had to come up with a campaign for Crocs’ “Soles United” shoe donation program and create bins for the contributions. Trace came up with the slogan “Wear Them, Share Them,” but says the men's team totally fell apart because of infighting between two of its members, calling the conflict “ugly at times.” In the end, Team Hydra's presentation wasn't strong enough to beat Empresario's “Share the Love.” In spite of Hydra’s loss, Trace remains on the show and no one was fired. Actor Vinnie Pastore asked to resign, and was allowed to leave.
