Trace Adkins will be performing in our nation's capitol at this year's National Memorial Day Concert on May 24. Off of his latest album, X, Adkins will be playing his new single, "Till The Last Shot's Fired," in honor of the personal sacrifice that comes as the price of freedom.
Adkins will be performing alongside his band as well as the National Symphony Orchestra, the U.S. Army Chorus, The Soldiers' Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band and the U.S. Navy Sea Chanters.
A longtime supporter of the military, Adkins has traveled to Iraq and Afghanistan as part of the USO effort to bring entertainment to American soldiers overseas. His first National Memorial Day Concert performance was in 2005, and in 2007, he was awarded the USO Merit Award.
Other actors and musicians scheduled to appear at the event include Gary Sinise, Joe Mantagena, Colin Powell, Katie Holmes, Laurence Fishburne and many more, as well as a special tribute from the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
