Trace Adkins Tops GAC's Videos for Third Consecutive Year

When Country superstar Trace Adkins looks back on his music career in the year 2008, his list of accomplishments, which include releasing his 10th studio album, Trace Adkins: X (TEN), performing for the U.S. Armed Forces during a USO trip and numerous concerts during his American Man tour, will also contain taking home the No. 1 video for Great American Country's Top 50 Videos of 2008.2008 marks the third year in a row Adkins has taken home the top honor on the year-end countdown, placing first with "You're Gonna Miss This" (2008), "Ladies Love Country Boys" (2007) and "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" (2006). This year, "You're Gonna Miss This" ranked at the top of GAC's Top 20 Countdown for a total of 10 weeks: six consecutive weeks April 25 -May 30 and another four consecutive weeks June 13-July 4.As in previous years, the 2008 edition of GAC's Top 50 Videos countdown was selected entirely by fan votes logged on at www.gactv.com. Voting was open from Nov. 1 through Dec. 3. GAC's weekly Top 20 Countdown program will return to the airwaves beginning Jan. 9.
