Trace Adkins Speaks at High School Graduation

Trace Adkins will be adding a stop to his tour this summer when he stops by Piedmont High School in Monroe, N.C.

 

Adkins will be a guest speaker at the June 14 graduation ceremony. How did Piedmont High School score such an amazing star? They asked.

 

Seniors Ashley Price and Jackson Hargett wrote to Adkins requesting a visit and telling him how much they would appreciate it. Being the good, stand-up (at 6’6”) guy that he is, Adkins accepted.

 

“I think it’s awesome that he’s the speaker, and that he’s doing it for free,” senior Kristen Keesler, 18, said. “It’s actually a real big treat for our school’s 50th graduating class. I’m a real big Country Music fan, so to have him is really awesome.”

 

Fellow student Dillon Helm adds, “We’re a country school, so to have a Country Music star here is pretty big. Country Music is very big at Piedmont.”
