Trace Adkins' New Single 'Ain't No Love Song'

Trace-Adkins
With a highly anticipated album expected in late August, Trace Adkins is set to release his first single from the album, “This Ain’t No Love Song." The single is set to be released on May 17 under Toby Keith’s newly formed record label, Show Dog – Universal Music.

As the title suggests, the song is not a sappy Country Music love song, but rather a song with an interesting twist on love. It is part love ballad and part backwoods Country charm.

"We are so pumped to have Trace join our roster, and equally as excited that he has given us such a fantastic album," said Mark Wright, President of Show Dog - Universal Music. "The first single is a great example of how Trace can take a lyric and put the listener right in the middle of the storyline. This is a perfect match of a brilliant communicator delivering an incredible piece of music."

During his Country Music tenure, Adkins has had nearly 30 hit singles with 14 of them making it into the Top 10 and another three topping the charts at No. 1. He has also sold gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums, as well as sold more than 10 million records. His newest tunes, however, might be his most upbeat music to date.

"Toby has said this new music has a smile on it and maybe that's just a reflection of where I'm at right now," Adkins in a news release. "I have this new sense of invigoration and making this record was a lot of fun."

The new single will debut at the 59th Annual Miss USA Pageant on May 16 in Las Vegas. Keep checking back with CountryHound for info on Adkins’ newest album, Cowboy’s Back in Town, set to drop August 24.
