In May, Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Hotel was nearly destroyed by the devastating flooding that hit the city. The hotel was filled with 24 feet of water, and it has taken them months to recover and $270 million to fix the damage.

On Monday, the Opryland Hotel finally opened its doors again and is celebrating on Nov. 18 with their annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. and a benefit concert afterwards featuring Trace Adkins at 8 p.m.

Music City’s biggest hotel is also ready to take on the holidays with their yearly "A Country Christmas" showcases on Nov. 19. Attractions include the opening of ICE!, an exhibit made completely out of ice sculptures, the ‘Radio City Christmas Spectacular’ at 2 p.m. and Louise Mandrell’s ‘The Gift’ Christmas dinner and show at 5 p.m. The night will finish off with a fireworks and laser light display
