Trace You’re My Hero!
Comic book hero that is; new four-series comic book is coming out in November called Luke McBain and it is based on Trace Adkins personality. It is about some big dude who returns home to Louisiana from prison (wrongfully imprisoned of course) to fight greed and corruption. And it’s all based on Trace Adkins! I can’t wait to get my mouth on it! I’m pitching myself as a comic book hero who returns from the pound to fight fleas and ticks.

Rascal Flatts In Left Field
Rascal Flatts played to a sold-out crowd of 37,000 this past weekend at Wrigley Field. They are the first country group to do so. Darius Rucker and Vince Gill (sings like a girl) opened for Flatts. I love baseball, hot dogs, applie pie and Rascal Flatts.

Aquapalooza To Make Splash On CMT
CMT will video this coming weekend’s Aquapalooza concert on Lake Martin in Alabama. Alan Jackson is the main act. Everybody has to arrive by some type of floating vessel. I’m thinking about going but not sure if I can dog paddle that long. Woof.

Brad Brad Brad, It’s All about Brad
First off you can catch Brad Paisley’s performance at the White House, along with lovely Alison Krauss, Charley Pride and the W.O. Smith School of Music from my homey town of Nashville, Tennessee. It all starts tonight (Tuesday, July 21) at 7:27 PM. It’ll be on whitehouse.gov/live. Someday I’m gonna make it to the White House. President Obama did!
And more on Brad. CMT will air INVITATION ONLY: BRAD PAISLEY, on August 3. It is an intimate (woof, woof) concert Brad does in Nashville while fielding questions from the audience. I’m sure some dweeb will ask him what it was like playing at the White House.

A Good Bush
And Sam Bush will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Americana Music Association on September 17th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Now that’s a good Bush!
