When Rascal Flatts appeared on the Today show on Friday, they were there to perform as a part of the “Summer Concert Series.” But NBC had a couple other surprises for the Country group up their sleeve.

The Country Music stars performed “Summer Nights” and few other of their popular songs to the huge crowd outside of NBC studios. Then, they got to celebrate lead singer Gary LeVox’s birthday with a cake and a rendition of “Happy Birthday” from the crowd.

But the fun wasn’t over yet. A plaque was presented to Rascal Flatts to commemorate having sold 20 million records during their decade-long career, according to Examiner.com.
