Toby Keith is set to perform at the legendary Bluebird Café on Tuesday, June 28 at 9PM in the BirdSongs Series. He will be alongside Bobby Pinson and Scotty Emerick for an acoustic performance.

"It's an honor to have a writer/artist of Toby Keith's stature perform here at The Bluebird Café," said Erika Wollam Nichols, GM of the Bluebird Café. "People automatically recognize Toby as a superstar but don't always realize that he is an amazing, and award-winning, songwriter as well. We are thrilled to have him performing with his co-writers in support of The BirdSongs Series."

Many artists are joining in the BirdSongs Series to help save the venue that once helped them. The legendary club has given a start to rising stars for years and last year the BirdSongs Series was created to help pay off the debt accrued through NSAI’s purchase of the club.

“I remember going to writer's night at the Bluebird,” said Toby Keith. “It's great to have a place for songwriters to showcase their songs. It can open a door that just makes a song fly. Just one moment of inspiration and you're off. Nashville needs to keep the Bluebird alive and thriving."

Toby will play a Takemine guitar throughout the evening, and at the end of his set he will autograph the guitar and it will be autioned off. The auction as well as the cover charge(s) for the show will be donated to The Bluebird Cafe to help ensure that the venue will continue to thrive for years to come.

An Evening with Toby Keith & Friends featuring Scotty Emerick & Bobby Pinson will be held at the Bluebird Café Tuesday, June 28. Doors open at 8:30PM. Regular seats admission is $75 and gold circle seats are $150.00. Reservations for the general public will be available Wednesday, June 22nd, at 8:00am central time via www.bluebirdcafe.com.
