6/17/2008 Webb Toby Keith Charity Golf Tournament The Toby Keith & Friends Celebrity Golf Classic held this past weekend in Oklahoma raised $709,000, a record for the event, far exceeding last year’s $500,000.  The tournament benefits Ally’s House, a nonprofit that helps families dealing with childhood cancer. The event included an auction which featured memorabilia donated by Country Music stars George Strait, Carrie Underwood, and Loretta Lynn, actor Tom Hanks, and sports greats Tiger Woods, Brett Favre, LeBron James, Andre Agassi, Tony Stewart, Peyton Manning, Troy Aikman and Nolan Ryan.   The top bid was $35,000 for dinner with Country Music artist and charity host Toby Keith. Ally's House is an organization named for Allison Webb, who died at age 2 after battling kidney cancer. She is the daughter of Scott Webb, an original member of Keith's band. "I knew we could make a difference with Ally's House, but it really is even bigger than I'd hoped," Keith told CMT.com. "We've helped a ton of families, and we're proud that we have never had to turn away an Oklahoma family that needs help."  Keith has raised over $2-million for Ally’s House since its inception.
