Tim McGraw Says Faith Deserves More Respect

Tim McGraw is doing pretty well for himself lately, thanks to his new album, Southern Voice, and two upcoming movie roles alongside Sandra Bullock and Gwyneth Paltrow, respectively. But McGraw still says wife Faith Hill should be getting more attention than him, but there's one thing that's holding her back.

"I get ticked off a lot because I don't think she gets the respect she deserves," he said in a recent Wall Street Journal interview. "I tell her all the time, 'If you were 300 pounds and dog-ugly, people would think you were the greatest singer in the world.' They have the tendency to look at her and never really listen to her. The reason it works is she's a fantastic artist. It's almost embarrassing for me to sing with her sometimes."

But even if she doesn’t get all the attention her husband wants for her, Faith Hill’s career is still going well, thanks in part to her new fragrance line, “Faith Hill Parfum.”

"It reflects everything I love," she told Ok! magazine. "It incorporates my favorite scents -- southern magnolia and jasmine -- which are reminiscent of my childhood in Mississippi and Tennessee."

The line was launched after the Country singer’s husband launched his own “McGraw by Tim McGraw” line, and, according to her, is very different from her husband’s scent. But he did get to have the final vote on the fragrance.

"I wanted to be sure he liked it," she explained. "His opinion was my first and final factor in determining if it was a go or not."

Fans can catch both of the Country Music artists in a few weeks when they attend the CMA Awards on Nov. 11, where McGraw is scheduled to perform.
