The 10th Annual Reading, Writing and Rhythm benefit concert will take place on June 8 at TPAC’s James Polk Theater in Nashville at 8 p.m. This year’s concert will benefit the Nashville schools that suffered flood damage as well as the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Tickets can be purchased at www.tpac.org.

The Reading, Writing and Rhythm concert will serve as an unofficial kick-off to the CMA Music Festival and will feature performances by Rodney Crowell, SHeDAISY, Jamey Johnson, Bucky Covington, Justin Moore, Buxton Hughes, Jann Arden and benefit founder Chely Wright, as well as appearances by surprise guests.

In addition to the concert, attendees are invited to participate in a silent auction. There will also be drop boxes available for fans to donate non-perishable food items to Second Harvest Food Bank, which also suffered flood damage. The fan who donates the largest amount of food will win a VIP package which includes two backstage passes, a meet and greet with the performers and two seats for the concert. The winner and guest will also visit the VIP area where they will receive an autographed event poster and gift bag.

The Reading, Writing and Rhythm Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Country Music singer Chely Wright to improve the quality of music education in public schools. The annual benefit concert is the organization’s largest fundraiser. It has raised more than $1 million to date.
