The Raconteurs Re-Record With Ricky Skaggs and Ashley Monroe

The-RaconteursThe Raconteurs plan to re-record their new single, “Old Enough,” and have asked Ricky Skaggs and Ashley Monroe to contribute to the single. The song appears on The Raconteurs album, Consolers Of The Lonely. The re-recording of the single resulted in a bluegrass inspired version of the song. “We wanted to show a different side of the band and work with a few local artists we highly respect,” Patrick Keeler, member of The Raconteurs explained. “Ricky is a legend, plain and simple, and one of the best players around. Ashley Monroe is a young, rising star with an angelic voice." Then, on Dec. 16, “Old Enough” will be released on 7” vinyl. The Raconteurs are the Nashville-based band featuring Brendan Benson, Patrick Keeler, Jack “LJ” Lawrence and Jack White. The Grammy-nominated band released Consolers Of The Lonely, which was a follow-up to their 2006 debut, Broken Boy Soldiers.The multitalented Ricky Skaggs has received 13 Grammy Awards, 8 Country Music Association Awards, 10 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, and 8 Academy of Country Music Awards.
