The Oak Ridge Boys Perform at SXSW Music Conference

The Oak Ridge Boys’ performance from Austin, Texas’ South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) will air on DIRECTV’s original channel, The 101® Network, on March 20 at 7 p.m. CST. The broadcast takes place in a new, state-of-the-art venue called the Lonestar Lounge at the Austin Convention Center.

Eric Shanks, executive vice president of Entertainment for DIRECTV, said, “For the third year in a row, DIRECTV customers will be able to experience SXSW Like with a front-row seat and an exclusive look into one of the premier music festivals in the world.”

The Oak Ridge Boys have a whole slew of hits to their name including “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” “Dream On,” “Thank God for Kids,” “American Made,” “I Guess It Never Hurts To Hurt Sometimes,” “Fancy Free,” “Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight” and many more. The group has over a dozen No. 1 singles and more than 30 Top 10 hits to their name.

SXSW is a Music and Media Conference scheduled for March 18-22. It features over 1,800 musical acts across all genres on over eighty stages in downtown Austin.
