The Grascals Begin National Network Tour

The six-piece bluegrass band The Grascals have scheduled numerous national network appearances in order to promote their upcoming CD release, The Famous Lefty Flynn’s, due out March 30.
 
The two-time International Bluegrass Music Association Entertainers of the Year kicked off their appearances by stopping at the GAC studios in Nashville to perform their new single, “The Last Train To Clarksville” (a re-make of The Monkees’ popular hit). The show airs Tuesday, March 23, at 1 and 9 p.m. EST as well as 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24.
 
Other scheduled appearances include:
 
  • SiriusXM Radio’s Track By Track with Kyle Cantrell will air March 24 at 11.a.m. EST. Band mates Jamie Johnson and Terry Eldredge will talk about songs from their new album.
  • SiriusXm Radio launches The Bluegrass Junction On Stage premiering Sunday, April 4, at 5 p.m. EST
  • RFD-TV will air a recent interview and performance with The Grascals on Larry’s Country Diner on Thrusday, April 8.
  • National Public Radio’s Mountain Stage program will air a pre-recorded live performance by The Grascals on Wednesday, April 14.
  • CMT’s Southern Fried Flicks show will feature The Grascals in Hazel Smith’s kitchen during the feature film, Captain Ron.
  • Other upcoming features include: Bluegrass Unlimited, Country Weekly, Keith Bilbrey’s Nashville Cookin’ and Inside Music Row television shows.

The Grascals will be on the road next month as they leave for Hank’s Rowdy Friends Tour. Their tour mates include Hank Williams, Jr., Jamey Johnson and Eric Church.
