The Band Perry Goes Platinum

The Band Perry has not only received a Grammy nomination for their No. 1 hit, "If I Die Young," but the song has now been certified by the RIAA as Platinum, having sold more than a million copies.
 
The sibling trio has seen major success this year and said they are loving every minute of it.
 
“This song is about hope and contentment,” said lead vocalist, Kimberly Perry. “Fans seem to have taken this song to heart as a positive reminder to appreciate each day you’re given. Every night we sing this song, it’s a reminder to us as well – we couldn’t be more grateful for this response.”
 
The Band Perry’s next performance will be on ABC’s The View on Dec. 15.
