In the need for a fresh new country sound? The Alex Michael Band is an up-and-coming country rock band that you will definitely want to keep your eyes (and ears) on! This group of young musicians all met at Belmont University and have combined their talents to write and record some country tunes that will be sure to have you singing and stompin’ along. Their first single, Sold My Soul to Country, was recently aired on WMOX radio based out of Meridian, MS along with an interview with the band’s lead singer Alex Michael. The band’s songwriting duo, Alex Michael (lead vocals) and Thomas Hassell (drummer), have together written more than an album’s worth of songs and the band plans to start recording their first EP in late January, early February. They are all still in school so finding time to record and practice in between studying and doing their homework can sometimes be tricky, but they are all dedicated musicians and their dedication and talent really show through on all of their songs.
