I started playing at a very young age, even before I took up singing. It has been my compadre and the first thing I look to when I need a friend. I truly believe I may not have achieved what I have if I had not been a player. I accompanied myself through every live label and publishing audition and played for tips so I could buy bread and milk when I first moved to Nashville,” said Clark. The guitar, which is officially called the Terri Clark Fender Acoustic Guitar, has a beautiful abalone and pearl “TC” headstock inlay. Clark has had over a dozen Top 10 hits including “Girls Lie Too”, “I Just Want to Be Mad”, and “Better Things to Do” making her very qualified for her own guitar. “I am honored to be apart of the Fender family as one of their Signature Artists and have always played Fender guitars on stage from day one. Hopefully I will live up to the name and prove that girls kick ass too!”
