4/24/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer   Music City's Country Music Marathon and Half Marathon has got 'em running!  The annual event turns nine this year, and will feature two marathons (a 26.2-mile full marathon and a 13.1-mile half marathon), a one-mile kids run, and plenty of that good ol' Country Music entertainment for which the city of Nashville is known. Jimmy Olander and Marty Roe, of Country Music group Diamond Rio, won't be performing on one of the 50 stages that are scattered alongside Saturday’s race route.  For the fourth year, they’ll be running.  And CountryHound fans can join them. For four years Team Rio has raised money for the band’s philanthropy, Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Team Rio, with more than 150 members ready for Saturday, has reportedly raised more than 90,000 for this year's race. "I kind of ran off and on through my life, whenever I felt like I was getting a little chubby," Roe told The Tennessean Wednesday . "Jimmy and (artist manager) Renee (Behrman-Greiman) challenged one another to run this thing and somehow I got dragged into it." Roe and Olander begin training for the run in January, including weekend group runs and fundraising appearances. "Marty, bless his heart," Olander said. "This is kind of my deal. But he's kind of the face of the band. He's inspired to do it for kids."
