Taz DiGregorio Dies At Age 67

Joel "Taz" DiGregorio passed away Wed., Oct. 12, after sustaining injuries in a single-car accident. Taz was an original member and keyboard player for The Charlie Daniels Band. He co-wrote many of the band's songs, including, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."
 
The band cancelled all concerts that week. "I am in shock now," says Charlie Daniels. "Taz was one of my best friends. The CDB family has lost a great friends and musician. We traveled many miles together and shared so many nights on the road. We're going to miss you buddy. You were one of a kind and will never be forgotten. We send our deepest condolences to the family."
