Taylor's Pink Truck Now on Display

1/2/2008 Stephen L. Betts   The pink Chevy truck Taylor Swift was given for her 18th birthday is on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville through Thursday (Jan. 3). Taylor was given the truck by her label, Big Machine Records, for her birthday on Dec. 13, during the same week she scored a No. 1 hit with “Our Song.” The Best New Artist Grammy nominee and reigning CMA Horizon Award winner plans to donate the truck to the kids at Victory Junction Game Camp during the Sprint Sound and Speed festival on Jan. 12, 2008, when NASCAR and country-music enthusiasts converge on Nashville's Sommet Center for autograph sessions, story-telling and question-answer sessions. The two-day event also includes a concert featuring Taylor, Alan Jackson, and Jason Michael Carroll. Taylor is slated to perform on The Tonight Show on Jan. 15 and The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Jan. 16, followed by two additional performances in Los Angeles.
