2/20/2008 Stephen L. Betts   Taylor Swift has surpassed the 40 million mark for music streams on MySpace, where she is consistently ranked as country music’s No. 1 artist. Taylor’s MySpace passed the 35 million mark in mid-January. Also this week, Taylor’s self-titled debut CD on Big Machine Records logs its 15th week in the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Albums sales chart. Taylor Swift is also at No. 7 on the multi-genre Billboard 200 album chart. The album’s fourth single, “Picture to Burn,” was Billboard’s most added country song this week, and is already in the Top 20 on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country radio charts, reaching more than 12.5 million listeners each week. Taylor is shooting a video for the song in Nashville later this week. “Teardrops on My Guitar,” which reached No. 2 on the country charts last year and was recently certified digital platinum (for one million downloads), remains in the Top 10 on Billboard’s mainstream Top 40 radio chart. The song was iTunes’ No. 1 selling country single of 2007. Next Wednesday (2/27), Taylor travels to New York for a special performance on MTV’s top-rated Total Request Live. TRL airs live at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
