Taylor Swift's Olympic Admirer

It's hardly a secret: Olympic alpine skier Will Brandenburg has a crush on Country Music artist Taylor Swift and even asked her on a date during an interview with MTV News on Saturday.

"She's just got that girl-next-door attitude. I like it, I like it a lot," Brandenburg said after fellow skier Ted Ligety outed him in a discussion about their pre-ski playlists. "I think me and Taylor could have a really good time. I was just thinking [about] a nice little dinner and a movie and a date, so if you're out there, Taylor, look me up. Will you be my valentine?"

The Boot.com reports that Brandenburg feels no qualms about asking the popular singer for a date. "I've had a crush on her for a little while, so I thought I'd give it a shot and see what happens. I'm a straight shooter, so I just went at it and asked her out." Brandenburg went on to offer the Country sensation skiing lessons or "anything like that."

Swift is currently on tour in Japan; Brandenburg is set to compete in the Men's Super Combined on Feb. 21. The event begins at 9:30 a.m., PST.
