Taylor Swift's No. 1 -- Again

Taylor-Swift-08
Taylor Swift has held a constant presence on the music charts since her debut single, "Tim McGraw," released in 2006. Now, she can add another notch to her belt of accomplishments. The young starlit was recently named No. 1 on Billboard magazine’s 2010 "21 Under 21" list (Swift will celebrate her 21st birthday on Dec. 13).

For this top spot, she beat out Justin Bieber (No. 2), Selena Gomez (No. 3), Demi Lovato (No. 8), Nick Jonas (No. 6) and Miley Cyrus (No. 10).

The crossover Country-pop megastar has been claiming control since her arrival on the music scene. This success has spilled over to her role in this year’s feature film, Valentine’s Day, and her receipt of the CMA Entertainer of the Year in 2009. Swift is also known as the top-selling digital artist in music history, with 28 million tracks sold and more than 13 million albums worldwide.

The Swift whirlwind does not show signs of stopping any time soon. She is gearing up to release her third album, Speak Now, on Oct. 25. This album will include her recently released single, "Mine," as well as the song she performed on the MTV Video Music Awards, "Innocent."
