Taylor Swift Will Ring in Football Season

Taylor Swift will join the Dave Matthews Band to ring in the 2010-2011 NFL football season when the Minnesota Vikings take on defending champions New Orleans Saints on Sept. 9. The pre-game festivities take place at 8 p.m. CST, and the game will kick off at 8:30.
 
Swift’s performance was announced by NBC during a commercial break on Sunday’s Hall of Fame Game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals. One more performer set to sing the national anthem has yet to be announced, but will be soon, reported TheBoot.com.
 
Swift’s upcoming album, Speak Now, is set to hit stores on Oct. 25.
