For her upcoming music video, "You Belong With Me," Taylor Swift has asked members of the Hendersonville High School dance team, Swift's alma mater, to be part of the experience.
The Golden Girls dance team coach, Jamie Jordan, received a call from Andrea Swift, Taylor's mom, asking if the dancers would play the role of "mean girls" in the video.  When the nine girls arrived on set, Swift made sure that the girls would be playing the "hot girls" instead of the "mean girls."
"Her mom told me Taylor likes to use people from Hendersonville when she can," Jordan told the Tennessean.
The nine juniors and seniors that appeared in the video were given a tour of Swift's bus, autographed skirts that they wore in the video and could potentially get tickets to an upcoming show.
"We've performed at shows all over, but this was completely different. This really was a big deal," Hendersonville High School junior Mackenzie Evans said.
