2008 was groundbreaking for Country artist, Taylor Swift. She released her newest album, Fearless, in early November and by the end of 2008, it was already the top selling Country album.  According to the Nielsen SoundScan, “She was 2008's overall top-selling artist, with 4 million in total sales and two albums in the all-genre top 10.”At only 19, Swift has already had three No. 1 singles off of her two albums and is about to hit the road for her first headlining tour, Fearless 2009. But even after all of her success, Swift has managed to stay grounded. She told Cincinnati.com, “I feel there's definitely been a perception change, the way that people think of me, with the last two months. But for me, I'm never going to change the way I look at myself or what I do on a Friday night if I'm not working. I'll be at home with my mom or my cat because my friends are either in college or live somewhere else.”She is also very humble in the way that she still looks up to other Country artists, who are now her peers. Swift raves about the people that she has been able to go on tour with thus far, such as George Strait, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley.
