Taylor Swift Special to Air on Thanksgiving

Taylor Swift is promoting the release of her new album, Speak Now, with a one-hour network special scheduled to air on Thanksgiving Day at 8 p.m. ET.
 
The special will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of Swift in the recording studio, signing autographs and being interviewed. It will also take fans along as she makes her way from New York City to Los Angeles, including some special performances along the way. One of those performances will be from 30,000 feet in the air during her plane trip across the country.
 
Ellen DeGeneres will be hosting Swift’s official album release party on Nov. 1. DeGeneres has devoted her entire one-hour show to celebrate the release of  Speak Now, and Swift will play songs off her new album.
 
Speak Now will be released in 40 countries on Oct. 26, and Swift will celebrate by performing at the United Nations in New York City. Fans can watch her live concert from home by tuning in to CMT or MTV at 5 p.m. ET.
