Taylor Swift Speaks Out About 'Speak Now'

Taylor Swift took some time for her fans recently with an online chat, where she revealed some of the secrets of her upcoming album, Speak Now.
 
During the online chat, fans asked several question of Swift, including one asking if her songs found root in her personal life. Swift explained the connection between the two.
 
“Mm hmm. The thing is, I don’t really talk about my personal life in interviews, but I definitely sing about it. So they’re definitely very sung about on this next record."
 
Swift wrote all the songs on the upcoming album without co-writers. The majority of the songs were written during her Fearless tour, which offered little to no time for collaboration.

“Speak Now” is slated for release on Oct. 25 with the first single, “Mine,” set to hit in mid-August.
