Taylor Swift Speaks and Little Jimmy Wears The Pink

Have You Ever Seen Little Jimmy Dickens In Pink?
You could have last Friday as The Grand Ole Opry held their annual pink tribute to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The Judds opened the show by flipping the switch that turned the Opry stage background pink. And Kimberly Williams-Paisley, pictured here with Little Jimmy Dickens, was one of the guest announcers. Dogs are huge supporters in the fight against breast cancer, especially since out mothers had so many of them.

Christmas Gone Country
If you’re not doing anything November 11 maybe you should try to get a ticket to the recording of “CMA Country Christmas” at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Performers include Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Sugarland, Darius Rucker, LeAnn Rimes and more. It’ll air on ABC on November 29. I’m pitching them my Christmas idea, “I’ll Be Dog Gone It’s Christmas”.

Salute to Loretta Lynn at CMA Awards
Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow will salute Loretta Lynn’s 50th anniversary in country music with a performance of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” at this year’s CMA Music Awards. That little hoedown is November 10th.

Taylor Swift Decides to Speak Now
With her new release, Speak Now, coming out next week, Taylor Swift has decided to speak up now about some of the more interesting things in her brief but brilliant career. In a nutshell she says that the Kanye incident was huge to her and she still doesn’t talk about it, though she sang about it in her song “Innocent”. She says some days it really does bother her when people say she’s pitchy…other days it doesn’t. I wonder if her next release will be “Sit, Stay & Roll Over”?

Robin Roberts To Expose All On Country Stars
Well, don’t look for anything super controversial, though it will include an interview with LeAnn Rimes about her marriage break-up. Robin’s a big country fan so the night before this year’s CMA Awards she will air a special with interviews with Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Miranda Lambert and LeAnn. Supposedly Miranda talks about being her family being homeless for a while when she was a child. Well you’re welcome in my dog house anytime Miranda! Grrrr, woof.
