Taylor Swift "Should've Said No"

5/19/2008 Amber Garner ACM Top New Female Vocalist of the year Taylor Swift has just released the next single off her upcoming album, “Should’ve Said No.” Like most of the songs Swift wrote, it reflects a part of her life. Some may compare “Should’ve Said No” to another Swift song, “Picture to Burn,” that also illustrates love gone wrong in her life. However, to Swift, they are completely different. “‘Picture to Burn’ has an angry and ‘I’m done with him’ attitude," says Swift, "‘Should’ve Said No’ has more of a moral statement.” Taylor Swift goes on to say, “I wrote this song by myself, and it literally took me just 20 minutes to write before we recorded it.  I was living every line of this song at the time. I wrote this song about a guy who cheated on me and shouldn’t have.” According to gactv.com, Swift will appear on the Maxim Hot 100 list coming in at 57, which should give the muse of “Should’ve Said No” quite a bit to think about.
