After winning an MTV Movie Award for her supporting role in Valentine’s Day and receiving rave reviews for her work on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Taylor Swift’s first love is still music.

"I'm not making movies right now. I'm making music," Swift told MTV News. "It's been so cool to be able to be a part of things that have been really fun. And I feel like I get to do these little mini-movies when I make music videos, so that kind of fulfills that little need or desire. But if I everget time, I might like to [act again]."

Fresh off her sold-out Fearless tour, Swift is ready to get to work on her third studio album, no small feat considering her last two multi-platinum albums have generated numerous chart-topping singles.

"[The new album] is going great!" Swift exclaimed. "I've been writing it for the last two years, so this summer, it's all about the finishing touches and getting in the studio and recording the last couple songs."

The theme for her third album will be more of “boys and love” themed tunes.

Swift will be performing at the Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery on June 22 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The concert, organized by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, will raise funds to assist in rebuilding the lives of those affected by the May 1 floods. Swift has already donated $500,000 of her own money to the cause.
