Taylor Swift at the Top of Twitter

As the Twitter social network takes off, many celebrities are competing to have the most followers on the site. Currently, Country music starlette Taylor Swift is ranked as the Country artist who has garnered the most followers, according to Music Row magazine.
On the site, Swift posts "tweets", or status updates, regularly thoughout the course of the day under the username taylorswift13. She has more than 304,000 followers. On the list of overall celebritry Twitter users and followers, Swift ranked No. 86. A Taylor Swift wannabe who uses "tayswift" as a username is at No. 2 on the Country music list.
As Swift's Fearless tour continues, she gave fans and followers updated accounts of her preparation for her show on Twitter. Updates say that taylorswift13 is "wandering around an arena. By myself, looking like a lost child" and "Kellie just got here. She just watched my dress rehearsal and is recommending the perfect pair of shoes to go with each of my outfits."
As far as Country artist's tweets, Kenny Chesney, who has an account using the name KenneyChesney, has 5,487 followers but has not left a single tweet. Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts are also top-tweeters. However, the star with the most followers on Twitter is Ashton Kutcher, whose username is "aplusk" has 1,356,958 follwers.
