Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner Call It Quits Already

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have apparently split.  Several news sources report the two have decided they’re better off just being friends.  The country music star and New Moon actor had only dated for a few months. 

According to the National Register:  "It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," a source close to Swift said. "There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived.” 

The couple, also known as “Taylor Squared” met on the set of their upcoming flick, Valentine's Day, and things slowly progressed after that.

The relationship began to unravel during Swift's birthday celebration.

Again according to the Register:  Lautner flew to Nashville on December 13 to help celebrate his girl's birthday, but things had fizzled between the two.  "He liked her more than she liked him," the source added. "He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him."
