Taylor Swift Tops the Charts With Fearless

As predicted earlier, Taylor Swift took the top spot on this week's charts with her latest album, Fearless, which was released last week. What wasn't predicted was how badly she would outdo the competition.Fearless sold over 592,300 copies during its first week. This is Taylor Swift's first No.1 album in only her second try. The runner-up, from American Idol finalist David Archuleta, sold 182,900 copies.Swift's album also beat out several other musical heavy hitters, including Christina Aguilera, the soundtracks from movies Twilight and High School Musical 3 and the popular Now That's What I Call Music's latest installment.
