2/19/2008 Stephen L. Betts   Taylor Swift promised herself a tattoo when her debut album hit platinum-selling status. But now that the self-titled disc has reached that goal, Taylor may be changing her mind. Not only has Taylor been warned that getting a tattoo on her ankle could hurt, she’s having second thoughts as to whether it's a good example to set for young girls who look up to her. “I’m trying to figure out if [getting a tattoo] compromises being a role model or not,” says the 18-year-old singer. “My mom says it doesn’t, but my dad says it does. So I’m just trying to figure out what to do.” Regardless of what she ultimately decides, Taylor says she takes her role-model status seriously, and she's careful about what happens in her videos and how she looks when she's getting photographed for magazines. Taylor recently edited and directed her new video for “I'm Only Me When I'm With You,” which features brief cameos from fellow artists Kellie Pickler and Rodney Atkins.
