Tanya Tucker Wins Cutting Horse Competition

12/10/2007 Stephen L. Betts Tanya Tucker rode her way to victory last week at the Careity Foundation's Annual Celebrity Cutting Competition in Fort Worth, Texas. The Careity Foundation is dedicated to helping cancer patients. Tanya and her partner, national bull riding champion Guilherme Marchi, beat eight other celebrity teams to win the event. An experienced horseback rider and huge supporter of the Careity Foundation, Tanya has been around horses all her life, and says she has a respect for them. “Being on a cutting horse is like driving a Porsche Turbo,” says Tanya. “I love speed and being in control of all that speed and agility is so incredibly empowering.”
