Sugarland's latest release "The Incredible Machine" recently earned the duo their fourth Platinum album in a row.

The recent certification by the Recording Industry Association of America pushes the band over the nine million mark of total albums sold since their career began.

The duo credits the 11-song project's progressive sound to the "steampunk movement," a branch of science fiction that imagines a world where humans evolve intellectually but technology remains set in Victorian times.

"I describe it emotionally as bungee jumping and eating chocolate cake," said lead singer Jennifer Nettles. "It's terrifying and gratifying, all at the same time."

Sugarland will hit the road to continue their "Incredible Machine Tour" in 2011, starting in Houston, Texas, on March 3. Tickets are available in some areas at http://sugarlandmusic.com/events.
