Sugarland New Walmart Release Coming August
Sugarland has a new live CD coming out August 4th and a network television special to go along with it.  The title is Sugarland:  Live On The Inside, and it will only be available at Walmart.  It was filmed at their performance recently at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.  And you thought WalMart only had everyday low prices.
 
New Gatlin Bros. Pays Homage To Johnny Cash
Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers have a new release, “Johnny Cash Is Dead And His House Burned Down”.  If you don’t know who that is, they charted 42 songs from 1973 till 1990 including the hit “Broken Lady”.  Seems they used to be better at song titles.
 
Famed Songwriter Inks New Deal
Songwriter Don Cook, who’s penned "Only In America," "It's Getting Better All The Time," "Brand New Man," "My Next Broken Heart," "That Ain't No Way To Go," "You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone" and "She Used To Be Mine" by Brooks & Dunn, "Even The Man In The Moon Is Crying" and "Born To Love You" by Mark Collie, "What I Meant To Say" and "On A Good Night" by Wade Hayes, "Now I Know" by Lari White and "Small Town Girl" by Steve Wariner; has signed with Skyline Music Publishing in Nashville.  Hope he’s got a few more hits left in him.

iTunes is featuring Love and Theft’s “Don’t Wake Me” as it’s free Discovery Tune this week, which means you can download it for free.  Their upcoming release is World Wide Open.  Who knows, “Don’t Wake Me” could be a real sleeper.  Woof.
