Sugarland To Headline First-Ever ACM Fan Jam

Sugarland-2010
Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of the multi-platinum duo Sugarland will headline the Academy of Country Music's first-ever ACM Fan Jam, a fans-only live concert event during this year's awards.

During the three-hour live show, Sugarland will perform with other leading and up-and-coming country stars.

"I am wound up about the ACM Fan Jam,” Nettles said. “It's going to be like hosting our own ACM party for the fans. They'll get to see the show and have their own private show in the same evening! It's like having your biscuit and eating it too, all in one big jar of Fan Jam!"

The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino will be home to both the ACM Fan Jam and the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Award.

“This is the ultimate fan experience and we couldn’t be happier that Sugarland is kicking it off!  We’ll have cameras there bringing all of the action to millions of viewers on CBS,” said Orly Adelson, President of Dick Clark Productions and Executive Producer of the Awards.

The ACM Awards air live Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 8 p.m ET/delayed PT on CBS. Tickets to both the awards and Fan Jam go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 19.
