Sugarland Leads CMT Music Award Nominees

The first round of nominees for the 2009 Country Music Television Music Awards have been listed in all ten categories, and voting is currently taking place at CMT.com. Sugarland leads the pack with six nominations while Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift scored four each.
The first round of voting at CMT.com will end May 11 and the final four nominees in each category except Video of the Year will be announced May 19. Fans can then vote for the winners until June 15. The CMT Music Awards will be broadcast live on June 17 on CMT. The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the telecast, and fans will be allowed to vote during the show.
