Sugarland, Lady A, Zac Brown Band Certified Platinum

County Music is alive and stronger than ever, proven by the Recording Industry of America's latest certifications. According to The Boot, Sugarland received a triple-platinum certification, signifying three million albums sold, for their 2006 Enjoy the Ride album. Meanwhile, Country groups Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band landed their first double-platinum certification for selling two million copies of their albums Need You Now and The Foundation, respectively.
 
Lady A also scored triple-platinum status in digital downloads for their popular single, “Need You Now.” The trio’s song joined the ranks with artists like Jay-Z, Train and Alicia Keys.
 
Brad Paisley’s 2005 hit single, “She’s Everything,” went platinum, selling one million downloads. Kenny Chesney’s songs “Never Wanted Nothing More” and “Out Last Night” both reached gold certification of 5,000 downloads.
