Sugarland's Kristian Bush tells the Scranton (Pa.) Times-Tribune that he and duo partner Jennifer Nettles like tok eep things interesting in their concerts by covering songs like Pearl Jam’s “Better Man,” and a bluegrass-infused version of Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable.” “We love music," Kristian tells the newspaper. "Our iPods are full of all kinds of craziness." He adds that he and Jennifer have already written six or so tunes for their third album, which they plan to record this winter, and that they expect it to be their best collection yet, the kind lasting legacies are built upon. “For us now, it’s 'can we write a Who’s Next or Joshua Tree or Tapestry?’" he says, citing classic albums by the Who, U2 and Carole King, respectively. "Can we write that record?” he said. “It’s time to go leave a mark.”
