Sugarland, Beyonce Sweeten American Music Awards

11/19/2007 Sugarland was a huge hit at last night’s (Sunday, 11/18) American Music Awards with superstar Beyonce joining the duo for a unique take on her hit “Irreplaceable.” R&B star Ne-Yo, who watched the video of the performance from backstage, said of “the bluegrass version” of Beyonce’s No. 1 pop and R&B hit, “It ain't bad.” Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles said of the tune, which they perform in the live show, “A good thing about a good song is it can be played in any genre. I'm up for anything. I love it.” Of the performance itself, Jennifer says, “We were face to face, and there were a couple times when she was looking at me and I was blushing because I thought I was going to turn to stone in her beauty.
