Sugarland, Beyonce Sweeten American Music Awards

Betts   Sugarland was a huge hit at last night’s (Sunday, 11/18) American Music Awards with superstar Beyonce joining the duo for a unique take on her hit “Irreplaceable.” R&B star Ne-Yo, who watched the video of the performance from backstage, said of “the bluegrass version” of Beyonce’s No. 1 pop and R&B hit, “It ain't bad.” Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles said of the tune, which they perform in the live show, “A good thing about a good song is it can be played in any genre. I'm up for anything. I love it.” Of the performance itself, Jennifer says, “We were face to face, and there were a couple times when she was looking at me and I was blushing because I thought I was going to turn to stone in her beauty. She is so talented and so grounded.” Jennifer’s musical partner Kristian Bush simpy stated, “I was the luckiest man.” The American Music Awards winners in the country music categories:
