Billy Currington celebrated the success of his latest single, "That's How Country Boys Roll," with two parties in Nashville earlier this week on March 29. Currington co-wrote the hit song with two of his close friends, Brett Jones and Dallas Davidson, although they didn't actually intend for it to be a hit song.

According to TheBoot.com, Currington said, "It's so cool to have a No. 1 as a writer. It was actually Brett Jones' idea that he brought to a trip. We had no plans of writing anything, but it just kind of happened that we did, and it was this song. I wasn't even sure I was going to record it."

This single marks Currington's fourth No. 1 in his career with "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right," "Good Directions," "People Are Crazy," and now "That's How Country Boys Roll."

Currington said he thinks the song did so well because so many people can relate to it. "It seems that way when I play the song live in different parts of the U.S. It's about just being a boy in the woods, in the country, and there's a lot of people out there like that. So, I guess just the simplicity of it."

Currington's latest album, Little Bit Of Everything, was also certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, surpassing sales of 500k.
